I once blamed others for my shortcomings - mother, father, brother, exes, boss and the list goes on, but then I realized when all these people leave my life, I’ll only have myself to blame.
So now I look at all my shortcoming as an act of my foregoing - Newton’s third law - For every action there is an equal but opposite reaction.
We are all in control of how our lifes play out. Stop wasting time and energy playing the blame game and use your efforts to make something better of yourself.
My rant for the day.

Starting the morning right….Power Oatmeal!!!
Week 12 weigh in!
My goals for phase 2 in my calisthenic training are;
1. Gain 5lbs of muscle fat
2. Lose 2% body fat
3. Increase my calves size
My intention is not to accomplish these goals in this specific order, but ironically, it appears to be happening this way. O.o.
For this week’s weigh in I have gained 6lbs of muscle fat - gone over my target but that’s ok, the body knows what it needs - once it’s not unwanted fat on the belly “evreting safe”
So far there hasn’t been much improvement with my body fat (mostly around my belly) and calves. I did read that the stomach and leg are the hardest areas to develop but “lawd man” it’s feeling rather impossible.
Nonetheless, I’m not stoping till the fat lad…. a mean, till the lean lady blows the trumpet?? ok, that just sound stupid, but you catch my drift
“Nar give up!!!”
Natural Steroid - Breadfruit!
At the beginning of my blog I mentioned that I eat all natural foods http://goo.gl/hwJWE, that means, no processed artificial stuff.
While experimenting with my diet, I’ve discovered that Breadfruit, a staple food found mostly in the tropical region, has a great source of nutritional value and yes, a form of natural steroids.
Most people get a negative interpretation of the word steroid, because of its publicized relationship with illegal enhancement substances used by athletes to make them bigger, faster and stronger.
Despite the stigma, steroid is actually an essential element needed for the body to function properly. The evil lies in the places where we get our source of steroids from, and how much we consume. Here is some in-depth information on foods that contain natural steroids and a description on which type are better for men/women http://goo.gl/s55E2 .
Anyone born in the Caribbean before the 90’s should have eaten or at least have an Idea of what a Breadfruit is, if not check out this link http://goo.gl/584wp. “Lawd, if dis generation only nuh wha dey missing.”
One of my favorite meal made with Breadfruit is Goat Water! (some people might call it mutton stew). I know that’s just one of the many dishes that can be made, so tell me about your favourite and I’ll try my hand ( and mouth ;) ) on it.
